OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - If you’ve purchased a home and the view was a key factor in your decision, you might understand these neighbors’ frustrations.
Residents near Flanagan Lake are fighting for their lakeside view. On Wednesday, crews installed trees that they say will block any glimpse of the lake.
Molly Anderson purchased the property her house sits on in 2021. The view of the lake is one of the reasons she bought the land.
“We had been told it would be an unobstructed view and the other thing was that this was supposed to be a 55+ area for the homeowners,” said Molly.
In January, Molly started hearing rumblings of trees being planted outside her front door as part of a city approved improvements project in the area of HWS Cleveland Boulevard. So, she went to her HOA for answers.
