PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A busy intersection in north Phoenix is closed after a crash left two people dead and two others injured early Wednesday afternoon.
The crash happened around 2:15 p.m. at 35th Avenue and Union Hills Drive . Video from the scene shows an SUV on its roof and another with extensive damage to its passenger side.
According to Phoenix police, two people died at the scene. Two others were taken to the hospital, including a woman in critical condition.
Detectives are investigating what led up to the crash.
