ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - It’s a booming time for The Delmar Loop, one of St. Louis’ most eclectic and beloved destinations.
More than two dozen new businesses have opened in the district since 2024, bringing new life and energy to the neighborhood.
But while the growth is good news, it also comes with change, including the closure of a longtime favorite for many.
“I think the loop has always been known as a place that welcomes everybody,” said Samantha Samugala, executive director of the East Loop Community Improvement District.
“We’ve seen over 20 new businesses open.” she said. “We experience about 4 million visits a year which only brings more businesses here. It is really an exciting time.”
