CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - Malls are popular spots for teens to hang out and spend time with their friends.
The time teens are heading to the mall matters now.
When shoppers enter the Charleston Town Center, a new sign is there to greet them at the door.
The sign is explaining the Family First Program.
The Family First Program, a policy now being enforced at the mall on Fridays and Saturdays, requires children 18 and under to have a parent or legal guardian with them between the hours of 6 to 9 p.m.
WSAZ’s Addie Smith reached out to the Hull Property Group, who owns the Charleston Town Center, to find out why they’re rolling out the curfew program.
