LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville's airport has joined a list of airports that are not airing a video from the Department of Homeland Security.

A spokesperson for the Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport confirmed to WHAS11 News on Wednesday it was not playing the video from Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.

Natalie Chadoin, the director of public relations for the airport, did not give a reason why.

The video blames Democrats for the federal government shutdown and its impacts on Transportation Security Administration operations, according to the Associated Press.

The shutdown has disrupted routine operations at some airports, leading to flight delays , the AP said. Democrats said any deal to reopen the government has to address their health care demands,
