TOLEDO, Ohio —

Some residents of a south Toledo neighborhood say they want to see their road fixed after regular truck traffic on Marlboro Street has left it in poor condition.

People who live on the street said the trucks take the road to one of the Toledo Zoo entrances.

"Unfortunately, the Toledo Zoo are not good neighbors," resident Liann Kulczak said. "This entrance down here that they use for all their deliveries and now construction, it's devastating our street."

"They fly through here," Kulczak added. " They're not coming through here gingerly and worried about any of the vehicles. They're on a mission."

Kulczak doesn't just see the trucks come down the road; she hears them, too. The road runs parallel to train tracks, which she said is quieter than the trucks.
