COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Department of Homeland Security has sent a video to airports across the country depicting DHS Secretary Kristi Noem discussing the government shutdown and potential flight impacts, but many airports across the country, including in Columbus, are not running it.
In the video, Noem blames democrats for the shutdown that is causing TSA agents to work without pay.
The Columbus Regional Airport Authority confirmed the video will not play at either the John Glenn Columbus International Airport or Rickenbacker International Airport.
A spokesperson shared in a statement, “The video isn't being shown at our airports, it us under review by our legal team."
The spokesperson did not elaborate on why the video is under legal review.
