One man has been arrested and another is still wanted after the body of a 22-year-old woman was found in Niagara Falls.

Niagara Regional Police were called to a parking lot in the area of Main and Ferry streets on Tuesday for a report of a sudden death.

Police said the investigation was turned over to the homicide unit, and that one person has been arrested. The cause of death is still under investigation.

A 43-year-old man has been charged with indignity to a body.

Another man, identified as 38-year-old Ryan Maeder, is wanted for the same offence.

Police said detectives encourage the man to seek legal counsel and to surrender to police.
