KIMBERLY, Ala. ( WBRC ) - New crosswalk signs are now in use for students and drivers in Kimberly after they were recently installed.

Kimberly Police say they have worked closely with Jefferson County over the last few weeks to repaint the student crosswalk and install new crosswalk signs at Doss Ferry and North Jefferson Middle School.

Authorities say the crosswalk is more visible and the new signs point directly to the pedestrian walkway.
