A person suffered life-threatening injuries in a shooting Wednesday night in East Boston, according to authorities.

Boston police said the shooting happened on Brandywine Drive. The victim was in a vehicle at the time.

Aerial footage from the scene showed a large police response near a residential building. A vehicle could be seen up against a container, blocked off by tape.

No arrests have been made, police said.
