PITTSBURGH —
One person was taken into custody Wednesday night following a SWAT situation in Pittsburgh's Middle Hill neighborhood.
Allegheny County dispatchers confirmed to Pittsburgh's Action News 4 that crews were called to the scene within the 100 block of Erin Street just before 5 p.m. Advertisement
Sky 4, Pittsburgh's only news chopper, flew over the scene, where multiple SWAT units and Pittsburgh police officers could be seen surrounding a home.
A spokesperson with the Pittsburgh police said a woman who was wanted on outstanding warrants barricaded herself inside a home and refused to come out.
When SWAT arrived at the scene, they said the woman quickly surrendered and was taken into custody.
The woman's identity has not been released.
