Radnor’s Mikey Enright did everything he could to keep his team in it Friday night.

While the scoreboard didn’t show it, the senior playmaker’s performance was electric nonetheless.

In a 50-14 loss to undefeated Springfield, Enright showed why he’s been one of the most dynamic all-purpose players in the Central League the past three years. Usually the Raptors’ go-to wideout, Enright lined up in the backfield and, when he got the ball, he made things happen.

The first-team All-Central selection last season ran for 175 yards on 30 totes. On the other side of the ball, Enright picked off a pass, forced a fumble and finished with eight tackles.

His all-around effort didn’t go unnoticed as Central League coaches voted Enright the conference’s athlete of the week.
