DETROIT, Mich. (WILX) - The Detroit Metro Airport is calling on the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) to stop playing a “partisan” video created by the Trump administration at checkpoints.
The airport also placed signs informing travelers that the video does not reflect the views of the Wayne County Airport Authority, a governmental agency that manages the Detroit Metro Airport (DTW.)
In the video, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem says “Democrats in Congress refuse to fund the federal government and because of this, many of our operations are impacted, and most of our TSA employees are working without pay.”
The signs read:
