Reserved matters planning permission has been granted to demolish outbuildings associated with a former cattery in East Cleveland and replace them with a residential property. Outline planning permission had been given in 2022 for the plans concerning Rosedene Cattery, in Crow Lane, Lackenby.

The reserved matters application, granted last month, covered further details of the development, including some of the materials to be used for the new home. Documents described how the two storey dwelling would have a “dual pitch” roof with dormer windows in the front elevation and roof lights in the rear. There would also be window and door openings in the north, south and west elevations.
