Bosses at a pub in Ormesby have organised an event to help veterans and the local community pay their respects on Remembrance Day.

The Fountain in Ormesb y reopened in August and bosses have been busy organising numerous live music events and entertainment for customers. Local lads David Fagan and Gary Hamilton took over the pub with a view of turning the landmark venue into a family-friendly community hub.

On Remembrance Sunday, they have organised free transport, courtesy of Teesside firm H&A Travel, to and from the Cenotaph. The pub will open for free refreshments before the event and entertainment has been organised for those returning to the pub after the service.
