GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — May Erlewine had to run a quick errand.
She didn’t have to pick up her dry cleaning or run to the grocery store for a loaf of bread.
It was a far more important task.
As she spoke with 13 ON YOUR SIDE, she was parked in front of the Traverse City Guitar Company, waiting to pick up an instrument cable needed for her upcoming performances.
You might hear that cable put to work during Erlewine’s concert at the Wealthy Theatre in Grand Rapids on Thursday, Oct. 16. Tickets are available on the venue's website . Doors open at 7 p.m. with the show starting at 8.
The singer-songwriter has played the theater a number of times over the years, but this time, she’s bringing a new sound.
In March, Erlewine released her ninth studio album, “What It Takes,” a rock-heavy reco
