GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Brian Boven with Homes Giving Hope is a finalist for a national realtor award. Boven, a founder of Homes Giving Hope, has secured five houses in just five years for young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The five homes house 18 young adults, allowing them to live independently while still having support. He works alongside his co-founder and wife, Sara, to advise the young adults on life skills and help instill confidence and a sense of community so they can live their best lives.
