CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A 20-year-old has been accused of fatally shooting a man at a Wingstop on Sunday night, court documents say.

Around 7:07 p.m., Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police responded to the Wingstop on Beatties Ford Road in reference to an assault with a deadly weapon call.

The 911 caller reported that someone had been shot inside the bathroom of the restaurant.

When officers arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound to his chest. Medic pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

The victim was later identified as 19-year-old Joelle Jsean Clesca.
