CANTON, Ohio — Police have given the all-clear at Canton's Aultman Hospital following a bomb threat Wednesday night.
Hospital staff tell 3News the threat came in around 8:40 p.m. and that, after notifying law enforcement, they "worked with them to investigate the threat while ensuring the safety of our patients, visitors and colleagues." Authorities eventually deemed the scene to be safe, and the hospital is currently operating as normal.
The threat towards Aultman was one of several made around the Stark County area on Wednesday. In a press release, North Canton police confirmed someone called in regarding a "potential threat" to Hoover High School earlier in the day, causing officials to place the building under a "soft lockdown."
