Two men suspected of fatally shooting a 67-year-old man in Garden Grove were behind bars Wednesday.

Rodolfo Ramirez, 37, of Garden Grove, and Gustavo Covarrubias, 51, of Santa Ana, were arrested Tuesday, according to police.

The two were arrested in connection with the killing of Mario Barrios of Garden Grove.

Barrios was gunned down about 4 p.m. Sept. 21 in a largely industrial area in the 12600 block of Westminster Avenue, Garden Grove Police Department Sgt. Nick Jensen said. The area also has some retail businesses, he added.

Barrios was fatally shot in the upper body in a parking lot, Jensen said. He was taken to a hospital, where he later died, Jensen said.
