WOODVILLE, Ohio — Woodville Township residents eager to hear definitive details about a potential data center that could stretch into Madison Township and possibly Gibsonburg were told there was little to discuss.

At Wednesday’s Woodville Township trustees meeting, chairman Paul Runion tried to put the restless crowd at ease, saying no zoning requests or any paperwork had been filed about a data center.

“We were supposed to have some people here tonight to discuss that, but they are not present,” he said.

Mr. Runion laid out what information the trustees had gleaned over the last few weeks. He said the trustees were initially informed about this at the September zoning commission meeting, where farmers said a developer had approached them.

The location would reportedly be off State Rt.
