SEATTLE - Seattle police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened in the Northgate neighborhood on Wednesday.

It happened near Hotel Nexus Seattle, located on Northgate Way and Meridian Avenue North.

Police said a man was shot in the chest and died on scene.

Detectives spoke to witnesses and said that a car was involved. It's unknown if the victim was a guest at the hotel.

SPD said there was no information on any suspects at this time. CSI is currently processing the scene.
