CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- The Charlottesville Police Department is asking for the community's assistance in identifying an unknown man who reportedly entered CATEC on Tuesday morning asking for information on a student.

The man reportedly displayed a badge to CATEC staff without presenting identification. Staff followed protocol by withholding information and requesting that he leave. CATEC then notified law enforcement and relevant school officials.
