COLUMBIA, S.C. — Fall is in full swing across the Palmetto State, and this week's weather is bringing crisp mornings, clear skies, and comfortable afternoons.

Skies are expected to remain clear overnight into Thursday, with morning lows dropping into the mid 50's. The sunny stretch will continue throughout the day Thursday as dry northerly flow holds strong, keeping clouds at bay and afternoon highs slightly cooler in the mid 70's.

Those with plans to head to the South Carolina State Fair will see pleasant weather with sunny skies and comfortable temperatures.
