Centerpoint warns customers of rising winter fuel costs

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) -- Centerpoint is warning customers to prepare for higher natural gas bills this winter due to rising fuel costs.

According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration households could see a 10% increase in their average monthly heating costs compared to last year. Centerpoint is urging customers to plan ahead and use assistance programs including the customer assistance fund and the Centerpoint Payment Assistance Program.
