The Colorado volleyball team wasn’t at its best, particularly early, in a rematch against Utah.

Yet the Buffaloes are approaching the midpoint of Big 12 play squarely in the conference race, and they’re setting the stage for a possible run at an NCAA Tournament berth. In that light, style points aren’t important and the win is the thing. And after a slow start, the Buffs were just fine.
