LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - UofL Men’s Basketball Head Coach Pat Kelsey is entering his second year in Louisville after an eventful opening season with the Cardinals.

WAVE Sports Anchor Dusty Baker sat down with Kelsey to discuss how he has managed to handle the adversity on and off the court.

In the interview, Kelsey talks about how his faith and family have helped him navigate his first year as head coach of the UofL program.

“Last year was a whirlwind, one of the most exciting, exhilarating years of my life, said Kelsey. “Our feet are firmly planted on the ground in this town, and it’s been great.”

Kelsey also discussed what his expectations are for the upcoming season with his group, ranked 11th in the country.
