Plymouth City Council has joined forces with a third housing association to deliver more affordable homes across the city.
The new housing partnership agreement between the council and Bournemouth Churches Housing Association (BCHA) aims to bring forward £18.3 million of investment and 63 homes over the next five years.
BCHA, who already accommodate more than 240 households across Plymouth, will put £7 million of funding into the project, while the council will provide £1 million and land opportunities through its Plan for Homes programme, which aims to build 10,000 homes over the next decade.
A further £10 million will be sought through Homes England grants.
The partnership will be looking to maximise homes for social rent although there will be a mix of affordable options.
