Shirley M. Fulone of Falmouth died on October 11. She was 91.

Born in Whitinsville to Frank and Elizabeth (Cupka) Hippert, she was raised and attended high school in East Douglas. Following high school, she worked in a local mill.

She married Chester R. Fulone. They had grown up together in East Douglas, but didn't start dating until high school. Together they raised five children, first in East Douglas and then in Natick. In 1990, the couple moved permanently to their Falmouth home, dubbed "The Beach House" by their grandchildren, where they enjoyed their retirement.

Valuing her Catholic faith, she was actively involved at her parish, St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in North Falmouth, where she worked in the parish office for many years. She was often seen attending Mass daily for
