Another truck has crashed into the Montague Street Bridge in Melbourne after a speed reduction was implemented on the notorious road.

3AW radio host Jacqui Felgate took to Instagram on Wednesday to share footage of a yellow TAXIBOX truck colliding loudly with the railway bridge in the suburb of South Melbourne.

The driver of the self-storage company truck braked on impact with the bridge, which has a very low clearance of three metres, narrowly avoiding a collision with a black Mercedes-Benz following closely behind.

The truck's side panels immediately collapsed as the driver remained stationary for a moment before U-turning in the opposite direction.

Several cars were driving near the truck at the time.
