A fire broke out on the ground floor of an apartment complex in Braddon on Thursday afternoon.
Fire and Rescue, ACT Ambulance Service, and ACT Policing attended the scene on Ipima Street, Braddon, after the incident was reported just after 2pm, on October 16, 2025.
ACT Emergency Services Agency (ESA) said the incident was a structure fire, and confirmed there was no immediate threat to neighbouring properties.
The street was cordoned off on both sides between Lowanna Street and Ijong Street during the rescue operations.
No one was inside the unit when it went up in flames, and the owner arrived on scene in the afternoon.
Firefighters put out the blaze, and no one is known to have been injured in the incident.
