New Delhi: ChatGPT has been provided with automatic memory management by OpenAI. This update assists the AI to manage stored information without having to be fed information by the user. It will be the follow-up to the first memory feature released in early 2024. There is less frequent occurrence of ‘memory full’ messages to users. The system now determines what to keep or to delete by itself.

The first change to be made is to Plus and Pro subscribers. It facilitates conversations as one recalls the main facts with time. ChatGPT retains data such as preferences or previous subjects. Storage becomes automatic when storage reaches limits. It puts priority on new and pertinent data. Memories that are old and unused are erased.
