Police arrested a 20-year-old woman after her 62-year-old "live-in boyfriend" was gunned down in a West Nashville apartment.

Hailey J. Hall was charged with criminal homicide in connection with the death, Nashville Police said in a statement Oct. 14.

Hall's arrest affidavit identified the victim as Mahoud Al-Bunni.

A roommate came home to the apartment in the 6900 block of Highway 70 South at about 7:30 a.m. Oct. 14 to find Hall standing in the doorframe of the bedroom she shared with the victim, police said in their statement. She had a "weird look" on her face, Hall's arrest affidavit said.

"He (the roomate) then saw the victim unresponsive on the bedroom floor," police said. "He said Hall told him that she shot the victim."
