Colder air is plunging into New England today. We’ll not only realize that with highs in the mid-50s, but also with the chilly wind.

Breezes will be increasing to feed a developing storm center south of Nova Scotia. Gusts could top 40 mph late this afternoon on Cape Cod -- in addition to a few weak showers -- as this storm deepens.

It’ll stay breezy and cool into Friday morning, but at least the highs nudge 60 by the afternoon. Full sun is expected.

Same goes for Saturday as we sit right under high pressure. This is a super stretch for the Head of the Charles!

Sunday will see us switch wind directions – to the south – and boost the temps close to 70 degrees.
