LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - We’re starting to see humidity increase a little, and we’ll see more of that heading into the weekend.

We still will have a nice start to Thursday and a quick warm-up. Highs will return to the mid/upper 80’s, and near 90 degrees for areas north of I-10. Thanks to southeast winds, humidity will become more noticeable by the evening hours but we’re not expecting any rain yet.

Rain chances will remain quite low on Friday, though higher humidity may allow a very isolated shower to take place. Other than that, highs still will remain in the upper 80’s with partly cloudy skies leading to the approach of the weak cold front.
