The record of a theft case against the former principal of Clifton Elementary School no longer exists, according to court records.
Amy Shepherd had been charged with theft valuing $2,000 but less than $5,000, a class-six felony.
According to a complaint filed June 5, Shepherd was accused of taking shelves from Clifton Elementary between March 29 and April 23.
Another former Clifton Elementary employee, Rebecca Fowler, had similar charges dropped in June.
Clifton Elementary was one of three elementary schools, along with Scenic and Nisley, that School District D51 closed at the end of the 2024-25 school year.
Shepherd was placed on administrative leave in April. D51 confirmed Wednesday she is no longer with the district.
