CANTON ‒ Aultman Hospital and a charter school were placed on lockdown Oct. 15 after receiving similar terroristic threats .
The hospital reported to police that a male caller told them at 8:38 p.m. that he had a bomb strapped to himself and an AR rifle. He said he would arrive at the hospital to kill people in 15 minutes.
Police reported that the hospital was put on full lockdown. Dispatchers were instructed to send ambulances to Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital, which was the target of a bomb threat the day before.
Meanwhile, Stark High School, 1379 Garfield Ave. SW, was contacted at 12:27 p.m. by a male caller who said he was on his way to shoot an AR-57 at the school.
The school was placed on a hard lockdown for an hour before students were dismissed to their parents.
