Vogue interviewed Nicole Kidman while she was in London shooting Practical Magic 2 at the end of the summer. She and Sandra Bullock scheduled shooting there in July and August so that they could have their children with them for summer vacation. She said they all had a great time: “Going to Hyde Park and concerts, Glastonbury and Salisbury — so much summer fun — Evita, seeing theater, walking Hampstead Heath, swimming there. Went to Portugal, went to Greece, had my nieces and nephews around, lots of family: my sister, my best friend since I was four, and her three children."

Her next project, an adaptation of the forensic scientist Scarpetta from Patricia Cornwell’s novels, is being filmed in Nashville, where she and her daughters live, which will allow her to "almost have a normal job."
