HARTSVILLE, S.C. (WBTW) -- A home in North Hartsville was destroyed in an early morning fire, authorities said.

No one was hurt in the fire in the 500 block of Johnson Street, Hartsville Fire Chief Ricky Flowers said. The home was "fully involved" when firefighters arrived at about 4:30 a.m.

Flowers said he did not know how many people lived in the home, and the cause of the fire wasn't immediately known. The Darlington County Sheriff's Office and the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division are investigating.
