New Delhi, Oct 16: India and Brazil have agreed to deepen bilateral trade and investment ties across various sectors, including energy, agriculture, and technology.

Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal and Brazil’s Vice President Geraldo Alckmin met to review the full spectrum of bilateral trade ties and reaffirm their shared commitment to deepen cooperation and investment.

The two countries celebrated the India-Brazil partnership and the contribution of farmers to strengthening global food security on World Food Day. Alckmin arrived in India for a two-day visit and held a meeting with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.
