CLEVELAND, Ohio – Residents across Greater Cleveland will see a decrease in their natural gas bills after state regulators ruled that many Ohioans were paying too much each month.

Enbridge went to the Public Utilities Commission in December 2023 seeking to increase rates by roughly $13 each month. Instead, state regulators’ ruling Wednesday will bring residential bills down by about $2 a month.

PUCO spokesman Matt Schilling said residents should see bill reductions no later than Oct. 31. Cleveland.com has reached out to Enbridge for comment.
