The Los Angeles Rams ' Matthew Stafford is looking to join him on the prestigious list.

Stafford sits only 191 yards shy of 60,000 heading into the Rams' Week 1 opener against the visiting Houston Texans .

He entered last season with a chance to join the 60K club but ended up just short at 59,809 yards. He would have had a shot to cross the mark in Week 18, but the Rams chose to rest him ahead of their playoff run. Stafford needed 3,943 yards to eclipse 60,000 in 2024. Despite falling short, he did pass Eli Manning for 10th place on the all-time passing list in Week 4.
