The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Thursday arrested Harcharan Singh Bhullar, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of the Ropar Range, Punjab Police, in a corruption case involving bribery.
The arrest reportedly took place in the afternoon at his office in Mohali, Punjab, where CBI officers caught him allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 5 lakh following a complaint lodged by a dealer in Mandi Gobindgarh in the state’s Fatehgarh Sahib district.
