A young bull elephant in South Africa appears to have invented a game in which he uses his trunk to fling rocks at safari guides, forcing them to play defense.
The accompanying footage, besides illustrating the rock-flinging skills of the elephant, reveals that guide Mac Stevenson possesses outstanding reflexes.

The accompanying footage was shared Thursday by Tourism News Africa, which stated: Guide [Mac Stevenson] had lightning-fast reflexes when this young bull thought throwing rocks was the new sport of the bush. First rock? Missed. Second? Direct hit attempt. The guide? Caught it mid-air like it’s the Wildlife World Cup Final.”
It’s an Interesting behavior on the part of the elephant, but it could become dangerous from a tourism standpoint.
In the footage, Stevenson is heard quietly imploring, "No more rocks."
