SAGINAW, MI — With the accused looking on, jurors in a murder trial were shown a trail of blood and bullet casings through a Saginaw dollar store.
The trial of Ronald L. Kinchen Jr., 39, resumed the morning of Thursday, Oct. 16, with Saginaw County Assistant Prosecutor Melissa J. Hoover calling forensic pathologist Dr. Daniel Spitz to the witness stand. Spitz performed an autopsy on 44-year-old Omar R. Morrow, who was fatally shot inside the Family Dollar at 1908 S. Michigan Ave. the afternoon of June 28, 2024.
