NORFOLK, Neb. (KTIV) - An agreement between a Norfolk childcare initiative and a church was announced this week.

On Thursday, Oct. 16, the Norfolk Area Childcare Collaborative (NACC) entered an agreement with First Presbyterian Church of Norfolk to open a new childcare center.

Serving up to 71 children in the area, the organization says the agreement marks a significant step to address the demand for childcare that’s accessible and high-quality for families of all incomes in the area.

“This agreement represents a tremendous step forward in expanding childcare capacity in our region,” said Tammy Day, NACC Board President. “We are deeply grateful to First Presbyterian Church for their collaboration and willingness to make their space available for a project that will have a lasting impact
