ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) — Albuquerque Fire Rescue responded to a residential fire in northwest Albuquerque Thursday morning. Officers were dispatched around 7 a.m. and reported heavy black smoke coming from the garage of the residence.

Firefighters were able to bring the fire under control within 20 minutes. AFR says the damage was mostly contained to the garage, but three occupants were displaced as a result of the fire. No injuries to civilians or firefighters were reported. Fire investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire.
