WASHINGTON D.C. (WTVO) — In a post to Truth Social on Thursday, President Trump said the U.S. would be forced to "go in and kill" Hamas if it "continues to kill people in Gaza."

The ultimatum comes after Hamas was seen on video publicly executing opponents in the streets of Gaza City, after a ceasefire agreement was signed.

In the days following the ceasefire's signing, Hamas security forces have clashed with armed groups and killed alleged gangsters in what the group said was an attempt to restore law and order after the withdrawl of Israeli troops.

Nahed Sheheiber, head of Gaza’s private truckers union, said Hamas was acting against gangs that had terrorized people in areas controlled by Israel.
