The North Carolina East-West All-Star football game, one of two major all-star games for North Carolina high school football players, announced its rosters on Oct. 16.
Western North Carolina have three players represented on the roster, all from the Smoky Mountain Conference.
Swain County head coach Sherman Holt will be an assistant in the game, and his roster will feature two Maroon Devils in running back Zeke Glaspie and lineman Drew Scaggs. Murphy lineman Janthony Gooden was also selected, rounding out the WNC picks.
