The Macomb County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday released surveillance video showing a gunman shooting at Eddie Jawad as the businessman was leaving his home in Macomb Township earlier this week.

Video images show the ambush shooting of Jawad as he was leaving for work. Other images depict the shooter’s black SUV as it drove away from the area.

Based on the videos and statements from witnesses, investigators described the shooter as a thin black male, approximately 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-8.

“The vehicle associated with the shooting is a black Ford Escape, model year 2020-2022. A stolen

plate was affixed to the Escape at the time of the shooting,” detectives said in a news release.
